kitchen remodel - day one

Started the demolition of the kitchen today (with help from my brother-in-law Hugh, down from Massachusetts). Below are some pics of the work, starting with how the kitchen looked just before we started...

Yes, that's a beautiful linoleum floor underneath. How long did we consider keeping that gorgeous linoleum? ? Less than at all.



Once it was time for the pantry to come out, Hugh decided to let me handle the demolition. How old am I that I decided to poke the crowbar through the wall and take a picture?
